C.A.R.T. CHANGES 1: Entry of a Chat Name has been moved to this page to accomodate changes in Internet Explorer 7. 2: The "Join" link in the Join Event column now accesses a new Java applet requiring Java 1.4.2.  If you have any difficulties using the "Join" link, please use the "Join Old" link in the Use Old Applet (rightmost) column.  This change was necessary to accomodate newer firewalls and proxy servers.

Usage Instructions GENERAL - Below these instructions, you will see any Live or Upcoming Events that can be accessed by the provided link.  You may need to scroll down the window to view your Event(s).  Please send any questions about the scheduling of C.A.R.T. Events to your C.A.R.T. provider. CHAT - If your C.A.R.T. Event includes a Chat Room, enter or edit your Chat Name (as desired) in the text box directly above the Event listing. LIVE EVENTS - To join a Live C.A.R.T. Event, click on the "Join" link in the Join Event column (to the left of the Event Title).  If you are prompted with a (Java) Security pop-up, choose "Run" or "Yes" to allow the SpecheBox, published by Stenograph L.L.C., to run.  Please click here for additional information about the Java Security warning. CUSTOMIZE THE C.A.R.T. DISPLAY - Click on the "Customize..." button to modify the layout and size of the C.A.R.T. Display components.  Use the pull-down menus below the SpecheBox to change the Font, Font Size, Text Color, or Background Color. TRANSCRIPT - You can access an up to the second snapshot of the Event transcript by clicking on the View Transcript button. UPCOMING EVENTS - If your Event is listed as an Upcoming Event, verify the Scheduled Start Time (and date).  After the Web Access Start Time has occurred, click on the Refresh button (above) to load the Live Event.  You can only Join a Live Event. CANCELLED and ARCHIVED EVENTS - If your link is for an Event that has already ended (archived) or has been cancelled, you will be notified of the Event disposition and when it transpired. BROWSER TESTING - You can verify compatibility with the C.A.R.T. Display by clicking on the C.A.R.T. Demo Event link.  If you have any problems with the C.A.R.T. Display, click on the Browser Test link to try and determine a course of action. C.A.R.T.
