Install SpecheBox Relay

Show Requirements

SpecheBox Relay Setup Wizard

  1. Click on SpecheBox Relay Icon in the SpecheBox Toolbar, to open the streaming pop-up.



  2. Click on the Install SpecheBox Relay link (or click here), to open the SpecheBox Relay publishing page.



  3. Click on the Install button, to call the SpecheBox Relay setup program.



  4. Run (or save and run) SBRelay_Setup###.exe, to open The SpecheBox Relay Setup Wizard.

  5. Click Next in the SpecheBox Relay Setup Wizard welcome window.



  6. Click Next in folder selection window. Optional: Select an alternative install location.



  7. Click Next to confirm the installation.



  8. Click Close to exit the setup wizard.



  9. Start using SpecheBox Relay


Update SpecheBox Relay

SpecheBox Relay will check for updates at start-up. An available update will trigger a menu notification.
  1. To check for updates after start-up, click on the Check for Updates menu option.



  2. Click on Update Available to open the update dialog.



  3. Click Yes, to start the update process, and open the SpecheBox Relay publishing page.



  4. Continue with Step 3 of the installation process.

Start SpecheBox Relay

How to use a Relay Link - SpecheBox Relay can be started by clicking on a Relay Link.
  1. Click on SpecheBox Relay Icon in the SpecheBox toolbar, to open the streaming pop-up.



  2. Click on the Relay Link.



  3. Choose to open SpecheBox Relay (if needed).

  4. Connect Your Software
How to use an Event File - SpecheBox Relay can be started by running an Event File (.sbc).
  1. Click on SpecheBox Relay Icon in the SpecheBox toolbar, to open the streaming pop-up.



  2. Save the Event file.



  3. Run the Event file.

  4. Ready for a connection.



Connect Your (Lit. Support) Software

SpecheBox Relay data transfer speeds are limited by the receiving software. Initial data transfers in excess of 100,000 bytes may require serveral minutes of processing by the receiving litigation support software.
  1. Connect to the indicated COM port.

  2. Fully connected.

  3. COM Disconnections: SpecheBox Relay will remain connected to the Event and buffer data until reconnected or closed.
